Brooklyn New York 1870 150 years ago a growing city filled with energy promise and potential in the midst of that energy promise and potential 150 years ago tradition and Excellence is Born the vincentian fathers open a new Catholic School in St John's Prep begin to of educating young New Yorkers to become good citizens people dedicated to success and Excellence human beings driving towards fullness of life today 150 years later that energy that promised that mission lives on housed in a comfortable modern campus on the convenient safe and quiet neighborhood of Astoria Queens show me the unique nurturing concern family the family the st. John's Prep faculty staff students and alumni come together to continue that mission and perhaps never had that mission show more brightly we're getting more real and doing this Publix near 2020 St John's Prep has shown its strength of a strong rigorous academic program we have a wide range of fun and spirit building activities clubs full fight challenging team and sports program and always the focus is on The God Who Made Us loves us and calls us to be our best selves Day and weekend Retreats leadership workshops School Masters in prayer service will hold us together as a school in family to come and be a part of our tradition come join our stjohnsprep family as we move proudly and confidently into the future
