Scholarships

St. John’s Prep offers the Vallone Scholarship Exam, an opportunity for 8th-grade students to earn an academic scholarship for their high school education. This competitive exam allows students to qualify for full or partial four-year scholarships based on their performance on the exam, as well as their academic achievements in 7th and 8th grades. Preference for these scholarships is given to students who list St. John’s Prep as their first choice on the TACHS (Test for Admission into Catholic High Schools). Scholarships are only applicable toward enrollment at St. John’s Prep. The exam is designed to assess students’ skills in math and reading comprehension, similar to the TACHS and Specialized High School Exam.
