St. John's Prep has always recognized the relationship between thinking, learning, and the written word.  We are committed to bringing our students the very best in writing instruction.  Expressing oneself with clarity and fluency requires practice and frequent opportunities for feedback.  St. John's Prep students enjoy the unique benefit of being able to utilize St. John's University's Writing Center.  This much acclaimed service is offered to our students who work with university personnel.  The university's tutors offer advice and questions to spur self-reflection and critical thinking.  They also work to model productive techniques for better planning, drafting, revising and editing.  Prep students can access the service via email or through an on-line tutoring session.
