Spanish Dance Team

Founded in 1995 at the request of modern dancer Johanna Peralta, the Spanish Dance Team has showcased Salsa, Bachata, Mambo, Merengue, and Cumbia over the past two decades, earning numerous awards in competitions.

Each year, the team performs at various events, including the Spring Concert, Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration, International Festivals, and the Ninth Avenue International Festival in Manhattan.

While membership in the performing group is competitive, we offer weekly instructional workshops during the first semester, open to all students eager to learn. Join us to experience the vibrant rhythms and culture of Spanish dance!
