St. Vincent de Paul Society
The St. Vincent de Paul Society carries out activities that emulate the charitable deeds of St. Vincent de Paul himself. St. Vincent de Paul was a Catholic priest dedicated to serving the poor. Any student is welcome to join in the various service projects of the St. Vincent de Paul Society at any time.
Members of the St. Vincent de Paul Society primarily dedicate themselves to serving in a local soup kitchen. One Sunday a month, students serve food and beverages to guests at the St. Francis Xavier soup kitchen. Additionally, members of the St. Vincent de Paul Society make over 800 candy bags to donate to soup kitchen guests on Easter Sunday. St. Vincent de Paul Society members also work in tandem with other campus organizations to carry out food drives and clothing collections.
