Junior Ladies of Charity
The Junior Ladies of Charity pledge themselves to the service of the needy in our community. They work in the spirit of founders, St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac. The Junior Ladies of Charity seek every opportunity to make Christ present by serving the material and spiritual needs of the sick, the poor and the marginalized of our society:
- organizing coat and food drives
- working with children in literacy programs
- visiting the sick, nursing homes and hospitals
- organizing social and spiritual activities for families, children and the elderly
- working with soup kitchens, food banks, and homeless shelters
- organizing local fund-raisers to support association activities
- working to raise awareness of victims of human trafficking
- much, much more
