The St. John’s Prep School Community mourns the death of New York City Police Detective Steven McDonald. On four different occasions Detective McDonald visited St. John’s Prep and its students to deliver his message of faith, forgiveness, non-violence and peace. On each occasion the students, staff and faculty were profoundly moved. May he rest in peace and may his message continue to live on.
