SJP STRONG: Year of Hope Campaign

The SJP Strong: Year of Hope Project is an invitation for us to come together as a community and express creatively what HOPE means to each of us as individuals. 

Students may respond to one of the following prompts with any creative medium that they choose (a photo, poem, drawing, painting, collage, song, video, tik-tok video, etc.) Students’ creative responses are to be submitted digitally via the Google Photos folder. 

 

Create an artistic response in the modality of your choice to one of the prompts below: 

Prompts: 

  1. HOPE is...
  2. What Do You HOPE for Most in 2021?
  3. Who gives you HOPE?
  4. What does HOPE look like to you?
  5. What do you HOPE for yourself, your loved ones, your community, and the world? 

SJP Strong: Year of Hope is a contest, and the students who create the three most unique and inspiring pieces will receive a reward. 

Important Details: 

  1. Whatever piece of work that you submit needs to be created by YOU. 
  2. If you upload a picture of another SJP student, you need this person’s permission to post it. 
  3. If you create a drawing, collage, or painting please submit a photo of your work. 
  4. Please submit your work with a title. 
  5. If your submission is uploaded from an email that is not a school email, your submission will be deleted. 
  6. The deadline for submissions is May, 28th at 7 pm. 
  7. After  May 28th, some of the most unique and powerful submissions will be woven together in the form of a digital story or a series of mini-videos that will be displayed at SJP, on the school website, and on social media.
