Important SJP Schedule Update

March 12, 2020

Dear Parents,

As of today, there are no confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) among our school community but as a precautionary measure we have established the following schedule.

Friday, March 13, 2020
  • Students will come to school. In homeroom, students will be issued new passwords for their accounts for online learning.
  • Students will clear out their gym and student lockers allowing for thorough cleaning. They must bring home all textbooks.
  • Students will be given their academic assignments.
  • Students will follow a shortened schedule with a 1pm dismissal to allow for faculty meeting.
  • All St. John’s Prep extra-curricular activities will be cancelled until students return back to school.

Monday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 17
  • Students will NOT come to school
  • Faculty and Staff will come to school; they will work on remote learning plans
Obviously, the COVID-19 outbreak continues to be of great concern, and we will continue to monitor all related developments. Our custodial staff thoroughly cleans and sanitizes the building each day following the CDC guidelines.

We will be in contact with you on Tuesday, March 17 by 3pm concerning the schedule for the rest of the week. If you have any concerns, please contact principal.office@stjohnsprepschool.org.
