Are invited to join the Mulch Fest - Tree Care Event in Astoria ~ Organized by the NYC Parks and Flowering Queens. On Sunday, January 10th from 11:00A.M. -2:00P.M. Meeting Point: Teachers Parking Lot on 21st Avenue. We will be cleaning garbage, weeds, aerate soil, and mulch the street trees. This activity benefits our urban forest and beautifies our neighborhood. Gloves will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothes, bring water. Wear your mask. The State Pre-College Enrichment Program hosted by the Office of Diversity & Multicultural Affairs is offering a FREE SPRING SAT PREP Course on Saturdays from February to May (9am – 11am). Students accepted into the course also become part of the S-PREP Program. Due to COVID-19 the course is being offered online. Course is open to NYS 10th & 11th Graders.
