Transfer Students

We are happy to learn of your interest in St. John’s Prep!

At St. John’s Prep we are proud to have a close-knit community that fosters in each student a strong sense of character and provides a supportive learning environment. With guidance from faculty and staff, students are encouraged to work together in developing academically, socially, and spiritually.

A student who enters St. John’s Preparatory School after the beginning of his/her ninth year, is regarded as a transfer student.  To be considered for admission, a transfer student must be in good academic standing and have good attendance and conduct records.

Please complete the St. John’s Prep Online Inquiry Form, and submit with the following:

  • Report cards from the last 3 years
  • Standardized Test Scores from the last 3 years (if applicable)
  • Letter of recommendation, discussing the student’s character, motivation and academics

Once we have received all of the above information, the admissions committee will review the student’s application. If it is determined that the student is conditionally qualified for admission based on his/her academic profile, an interview appointment is scheduled with the admissions committee.  Once this process is complete, the student will be informed of his/her acceptance.
