On Tuesday, May 2nd, five SJP students - Shirley He, Rudy Lin, Lisa Luo, Victoria
Ma, and Sunshine Yuan - led a fundraiser during the lunch periods. The students raised over $500 to help support the children of the Qi He Primary School, in the Yun Nan province of China, by selling stationery, bookmarks, pens, hair accessories and phone cases, which they brought back from China. St. John's Prep is also making a donation to help out the students of Qi He Primary.
Some of the participating students will go to Qi He this summer and use the funds to supply children with backpacks and other school necessities.
