NHS Peer Tutoring: Will meet today at 2:45P.M.-3:45P.M. in 111N.
French Club: Will meet today at 2:35P.M. in 201N.
Yearbook: Will not be meeting today.
Modern Dance: Will begin today promptly at 2:45PM... Please be on time! New members are still welcome!
Theatre Actors and Stagehands: Will be meeting today at 2:45P.M. in Studio 18 for cast announcements and stagehands training.
Chess Club: Will meet today at dismissal in 112S.
There will be a meeting of all students participating in the Sophomore Decorating Committee Today and Thursday after school in 202S.
Italian Culture Club: Will meet Thursday in 207S at dismissal.
Hellenic Club: Will meet on Friday at dismissal in 203S.
Environmental Club: Will meet Friday at 2:35P.M. in 201N.
Art Club: Will not meet on Friday so members can attend the Harvest Festival.
Reminder to All our SJP students to look at the Guidance bulletin board for postings regarding scholarships, summer programs, internships, and employment opportunities.
**All Students ~ A Reminder: If you find something please bring it to the Student Center so we can have it announced. And please check the Student Center if you lost or misplaced any of your items.
ATHLETICS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
JV Volleyball team will be facing Mary Louis today in their Quarterfinal Playoff matchup. The game will be held at Xaverian starting at 5:15P.M.
Boys Soccer will travel today to play Kennedy Catholic.
The Girls Soccer team will practice today at 3:00P.M.
Weight Club: Will meet today at dismissal in the Weight Room.
Varsity Girls Volleyball will practice today at 3:00P.M.
Cross Country Track Practice at 3:30P.M.
***On Saturday, November 4th we will be having our Boys and Girls Basketball tryouts. The girls’ tryouts are scheduled for 10AM-12PM and the boys from 12PM-2PM. To participate in tryouts every student must have the following forms completed and submitted into the nurse:
1. NY Sports School Health Form
2. Athlete Concussion Facts Sheet and Acknowledgement Form
3. Cardiac Health Form
4. Student/Parent Permission Slip
The forms mentioned can all be found on the school website under ”student life.” Once you are in “student life” click on forms. If any student transferred from another high school, they must get clearance to play. Transfer students should see Mr. Bigeni so he can help you with the process.
