The Crescent Tower Owl is St. John’s Prep’s award-winning student newspaper. Published in the winter and the spring, The Crescent Tower Owl focuses on student and community life as well as issues of national and international concern. The newspaper also contains editorials, interviews, and features covering fashion, movies, books, and trends. Students with an interest or passion for writing, journalism, editing, photography, or page design are welcome to join the newspaper staff at any time.
In the past, The Crescent Tower Owl has received numerous honorable mentions for its tireless reporting and story writing efforts. Previous awards also include “Best Sports Story,” “Best Photo,” and “Best Feature Story” from The Tablet Press Awards.
