The Asian Culture Club at SJP is dedicated to fostering an understanding and appreciation of the diverse Asian cultures among our student body. Our club provides an inclusive environment where students explore the richness of Asian heritage through language, cuisine, film, music, history, and art.

Activities and Services:

Last year, our club engaged in various enjoyable activities, including a memorable karaoke trip to Flushing, a vibrant Asian community in Queens, NY. We also actively participated in SJP’s cultural food event by sharing diverse snacks from our Asian cultures. Our members enjoyed hands-on experiences like preparing sushi, scallion pancakes, and crafting paper fortune cookies.

This year, we're thrilled to visit the Rubin Museum, an esteemed art institution showcasing Asian artwork spanning different regions, time periods, and mediums. Additionally, we're planning an Asian Culture Festival later this year and intend to volunteer with Heart of Dinner, a non-profit dedicated to nourishing elderly Asian American seniors.
