SJP CARES

The SJP Girls and Boys basketball teams proved that winning doesn't just happen on the court as they delivered toys this Sunday, December 17 to the St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital in Bayside.

Giving back is a tradition at St. John's Prep, especially during Advent when the SJP community comes together in joyful anticipation of Christ's birth at Christmas. In early December, members of SJP's National Honor Society and Student Council joined together with Catholic Charities’ St. Nicholas Project to make sure that those in need were able to realize their Christmas wish.

Catholic Workers also continue to prepare and serve meals on Wednesday afternoons, to the neighborhood homeless shelters. In addition, both the Christmas and Thanksgiving Food Drives tremendously helped the local food pantries to meet the increasing need of those less fortunate.
