The St. John’s Prep dance program launched "the Easter Basket Project" in an attempt to serve the less fortunate of our community. Members of the three major dance programs at SJP- Modern, Spanish and Bollywood- sought to ensure that the children residing at the Metro Family Shelter had a happy Easter by collecting books and small toys, which were then stuffed into donated Easter baskets for the facility's youngest residents. Dancers spent the week before Easter creating 140 baskets, which were delivered and presented to the children at the Metro family shelter on Holy Thursday. The dancers of St. John’s Prep were honored to have had the privilege of seeing the delight in the eyes of the recipients as they reached for their baskets!
